What if We All Embraced Our Strengths, Instead of Lamenting Our Weaknesses? - Human Design Hanging Gates

After I posted these 6 images about hanging gates on Instagram today, I had some amazing conversations that prompted me to do my favorite thing - imagine a utopian world where we are all aware of who we are, embrace our strengths, and use our energy in the world in a way that benefits us and brings us satisfaction, success, peace, and surprise.

This is how I’m aiming to live all the time these days! Easier said than done, but that’s the aim!

DIFFERENTIATION UTOPIA

It is so liberating to be able to know what we’re bringing, what we aren’t, and say, “I’m going to build a life for myself that leaves space for all the amazing energy I bring consistently, and supports me in the energy I don’t bring consistently.”

The problem with a homogenized society is that we create strict profiles for success, to which all of us are supposed to adhere. We see this and we begin to think “OK, this part of me doesn’t quite fit here, so I need to make it smaller. I don’t have that part, so I have to overcompensate. I need to become something I’m not.”

In reality, we are all wired for our own success. How could it be any other way? It wouldn’t even make sense. How is it possible that I wouldn’t be my own best guide for making decisions? How could be be that someone else could have the roadmap for my own fulfillment, instead of what I feel inside?

MAKING SPACE FOR WHO YOU ARE

When you see your open gates, don’t think about what you don’t have. Think about the wisdom, delight, and opportunity to experience yourself as different energies flow in and out of you. When you see your defined gates, don’t think about what you’re lacking on the other side of the channel. Think about how you can best work with the energy you’re bringing so it can reach its highest potential.

Make space for yourself in your life. You are wonderful just the way you are.
