Generators and MGs: Are You Craving Depth?
As someone living in the US right now during an attempted fascist takeover and late-stage capitalism, I can confidently say that currently, we are in the bad place.
This doesn't mean that I don't have a deep knowing that things will change, improve, and evolve over the next few years. As more Aquarian energy streams in, we will align.
I feel very positive about this! I believe in the power of humanity to continue to awaken and make the right choices!
AND...things are not great right now.
For me personally, the biggest change over the last few years has happened on social media.
As a 37-year-old millennial, I'm the generation that has experienced life as a fully sentient being without social media and with it. Social media has given me so many gifts—friends I would have never met, comfort when I had uncommon spiritual experiences, access to information and niche interests I could never have pursued, and this entire business I've created!
I love consuming helpful, enriching, and inspiring content and media on the internet, and it has truly changed my life.
Yet social media has always been a place that could breed negativity—trolls in comment sections, comparisons that can leave one feeling less-than, the pressure to appear a certain way, fear of getting canceled, judged, or harassed, etc.
At this point, it's at a fever pitch. Not only do the algorithms on most sites seem primed to spark outrage and trigger emotional reactions, but at this point, I don't even feel like I can trust that the average commenter is a real person.
I don't think it's individuals doing this—it's governments, corporations, and greedy billionaires. Are we living on a dead internet? Lately, I'm more and more convinced we are. And it's not just me—I've noticed more and more people awakening to this reality.
Despite the fact that I have a Virgo stellium and a Scorpio rising—my discernment game is strong —I still find it easy to be manipulated and triggered emotionally when I go on social media.
And it's not just emotional manipulation—it seems designed to rewire our brains.
One thing that has been weighing on me the last few years is that our current online landscape seems hell-bent on whittling our attention spans to nothing.
I noticed the misalignment when I started to get a stomach ache every time I went on social media. As a Sacral Generator, my Sacral center is my truth-teller, and that stomach ache was its way of saying 'absolutely not' to the current social media landscape.
So much of what we're served these days is shallow, gimmicky, obvious. Instant transformations. Promises of overnight success and 24-hour manifestations. Or even just the idea that true inner shifts could follow the steps set out for you by someone else.
While we might have a few small wins following someone else's paradigm, the deconditioning process does not happen overnight.
We have to slough off the cells one by one, a process that takes seven years!
We can absolutely make life-changing progress, and change happens much more quickly than when we begin to know ourselves and honor our inner authority. However, the truth remains: the deconditioning process is unique to each of us. It deserves space to breathe, time to unfold, and permission to move at its own pace.
This is why I always strive to create things that are deep, provide insight into your unique design, and are designed to be visited again and again.
We come back to the same topics over and over.
We are not ready to know or experience certain things until it's the right time.
And this is why I'm so passionate about creating spaces that honor our natural rhythms and unique journeys.
The massive repository of transformative and practical HD knowledge that I've created for the Glow-Up is used best when it's guided by what you experience in your life and then think—okay, how could I understand myself better to navigate this situation, decondition, and express my true self?
This is exactly why I created the Glow-Up to be different —a sacred space where transformation isn't rushed, where your unique journey is honored, and where you can return again and again as new layers of understanding unfold.
So, are you feeling similarly about being online these days? Craving more depth? Wanting to experience the internet in a more peaceful way? Spend less time there? Engage in more...antisocial media ?
